Synopsis

Tajikistan is the poorest Republic of the former Soviet Union but with a porous 1,300-km of borders with northern Afghanistan, it is at the heart of a multi-billion-dollar network smuggling heroin. Today heroin addiction resurfaces in Italy, Rogoredo is one of the largest open-air drug market place in Europe. Is the return of heroine today underestimated?
